You can use our Website to purchase therapeutic art experiences (Therapeutic Arts). Whilst our Website provides a technology platform for you to engage a Practitioner to provide you with Therapeutic art services, Arcana is not a medical provider, health insurance company, virtual clinic or pharmacy. Arcana does not and is not intended to provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Arcana does not confirm the credentials of practitioners using our service and does not validate that the practitioners are in good standing with their respective licensure board(s). By using the Therapeutic Arts service, you agree to hold Human Literacy LTD (trading as “Arcana”) not liable in any way for any malpractice or substandard treatment the practitioner may render.
Nothing in these terms for Therapeutic Arts affects our liability under English law for death or personal injury arising from our negligence, or our liability for fraudulent misrepresentation or misrepresentation as to a fundamental matter, or any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Contractual Relationship and Minors
By purchasing a Therapeutic Arts session, you represent, acknowledge and agree that you are of age under the laws of your jurisdiction (usually 18+ of age) and/or lawfully able to enter into contracts. Arcana does not offer bookings for Therapeutic Art sessions to minors. If you are not legally able to enter into contracts, you may not use the services at any time or in any manner or submit any information to Arcana.
Refunds and returns

Gift Cards
You can purchase gift cards for our therapeutic art experiences on our shop. Gift cards cannot be transferred.
These gift cards can be used across our Website. Gift cards are issued for a £ equivalent value, sold in variants aligned to the price of different formats at the time of writing. In the event of a price change, a balance may be due if the gift card is not equivalent to the total price of the event.
Gift cards are valid for 12 months after the purchase date. To redeem a gift card, the recipient just needs to enter their unique voucher code during the checkout process on our Website. Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash, and are non-refundable.
If your booking total is less than the value of the gift card, we’ll leave any balance as a credit for you to redeem it against subsequent orders for events.
If someone has been kind enough to buy you one, or if you’re buying a gift card for someone else, do make a note of the purchase date and remember to use the gift card before it expires.
